landed in Thailand yesterday and since then, i have moved from experience to the other. apart from being looked at strangely on the street for that fact you are black, one also faces the language barrier which for me, is the most difficult of all.
this is city that prides itself of being not just a location but a destination especially for business people and one can count the number of people who speak English. and the food is another terrible thing. well would not blame them, it is just that i am a bit choosy when it comes what i eat outside my house and rice blended with sugar is definately not one of those dishes that i cherish.
so far, the experience has not been pleasant at all. i however, do hope that by the end of sojourn here, i will have something positive to say about this country. nevertheless, they have very beautiful buildings here, at least, better than my home country.
